Preparation procedure

  • Preparation of the mascarpone cream Whisk the eggs, yolk and sugar over a water bath until pale and foamy. Once the mixture thickens, let it cool. Then gently fold in the mascarpone and whisk until smooth.
  • Preparation of the tiramisu Sweeten the coffee to taste and, if desired, add a few drops of rum flavoring. Spread a thin layer of the prepared mascarpone cream on the bottom of the dish. Dip the ladyfingers in the coffee one by one and place them on the cream.
  • Layering Cover the ladyfingers with another layer of cream and evenly sprinkle with grated coconut. Warm the Nutella slightly so it spreads easily, and spread it over the cream and coconut layer.
  • Repeating the layers Repeat the process – layers of ladyfingers, cream, coconut and Nutella – until you use up all the ingredients or fill the dish. The final layer should be the mascarpone cream, sprinkled with coconut.
  • Chilling Place the finished dessert in the refrigerator and let it chill for at least 2 hours, ideally overnight.
  • Serving After chilling, cut the tiramisu into portions and serve.
