Preparation procedure
- Cut the crust off the slices of bread and cut each into 9 equal pieces.
- Whisk the eggs with the milk and salt in a bowl.
- In a second bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar.
- Melt half of the butter in a pan.
- Coat half of the cubes well in the egg mixture and fry in the pan until golden. Transfer them to the cinnamon mixture and coat them while still warm.
- Repeat the same process with the other half of the butter and the remaining cubes.
- Serve immediately with a small bowl into which you pour a little maple syrup for dipping the cubes.
