Preparation procedure
- Simply mix all the ingredients into one mass to create the desired dough. The cheese itself will be part of it.
- If the dough sticks too much, add a little more flour. Then take a rolling pin and roll it out into a thin sheet, ideally rectangular in shape.
- Then take a knife or a special cutter and you can start forming individual sticks about 10 cm long and approximately 1.5 centimeters wide. Gradually move them onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
- When it is full, brush the sticks with beaten egg. If desired, you can sprinkle them with coarse salt or caraway seeds.
- Then the cheese sticks head into an oven preheated to 190 degrees Celsius. They bake here for 10 – 15 minutes. Afterwards, remove them, let them cool, and taste.
