- We defrost the puff pastry, or take it out of the fridge if it is only chilled. We divide it into parts.
- In a bowl we mix the cheese with the eggs.
- We brush the baking tray with melted butter and line it with one layer of dough.
We brush that with butter. On the dough we put a layer of cheese and on top again a layer of dough, which we again brush with butter. - We can roll the dough or just layer it and cut it into squares so the dish is easier to serve.
- It's entirely up to you. The last layer should be a cheese layer. Pour the whole thing with sour cream mixed with the eggs, just like for French potatoes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for at least 30 to 35 minutes.
