- Separate the egg whites from the yolks
- Whip the egg whites with the vanilla sugar until stiff peaks form
- Pour most of the milk into a pot and put it on the heat
- Add the vanilla and granulated sugar
- When the milk starts to boil, spoon the beaten egg whites into it by the tablespoon so they form little clouds
- Cook and occasionally turn the clouds
- Whisk the pudding powder with a little milk and the yolks
- Remove the egg-white clouds from the milk and pour the pudding mixture into it
- Cook the pudding and pour it into dessert glasses
- Finally place the clouds on top
