This soup is great and, above all, easy to prepare. If you want to bring a change to children and not only them in their diets, definitely try the soup. There are many recipes for this soup, but everyone can adjust it to their own tastes.

The process is similar to when you make broth

To prepare the soup you will need:

  • 100 g butter
  • 100 g hard cheese
  • 3-4 potatoes
  • Sweet bell pepper
  • 1 onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 egg
  • Herbs you like
  • Flour
  • Refined sunflower oil for frying

Before you start preparing, get all the ingredients ready. Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Put the oil in the kitchen and let it stand so it reaches room temperature. Peel and grate the carrot as well. Do the same with the onion; it can be roughly chopped. Wash, peel and dice the potatoes.

Halve the peppers, remove the seeds and chop them into larger cubes. In this case red vegetables will be best because they will brighten the whole soup. Then make the cheese balls. Put the cheese and softened butter into one bowl, add the beaten egg. Finally add the flour so you get a dough from which the balls can be easily formed.

From the dough form balls that you will then add to the soup

Chop the herbs finely and add them to the dough. Mix the dough and form small pieces from it, shape them into centimeter-sized balls and place them separately in a bowl. If the balls don’t hold together, you can wrap them in plastic wrap and leave them in the fridge for a while.

Put three liters of water into a pot, bring to a boil and add the potatoes, which you should cook. Heat a pan, add the oil and fry the onion with the carrot. Also add the pepper and let all the vegetables soften. Add the vegetables to the pot where the potatoes were cooking. Taste the soup and salt and pepper as needed.

Add the cheese balls one by one and wait until they rise to the surface. Cover with a lid and cook for about five minutes. Turn off the heat and let it stand under the lid for about ten minutes. Then you can serve. It will be great with toasted croutons.
