What would you do without knees?

Knee pain can be the result of many factors.

I have a friend who often used to walk around in slippers. After a while she began to complain that she felt pressure and pain in her legs. So I recommended that whenever the pain appears she should rest for a while and stretch her legs.

However, I didn’t realize she always walked like that, everywhere. She refused to listen to me and over time the pain kept worsening until it finally reached her knees.

Risk factors for knee pain

If any of the following apply to you, then you have an increased risk of damage to the knee joints and developing chronic pain:

Obesity – increased weight puts pressure on the joints and increases the risk of accelerated osteoarthritis

Wear and tear – leads to fatigue of muscles and joints, causes inflammation that further damages tissues

Age

Instability – weak muscles don’t support the knees

Mechanical problems – structural abnormalities such as one leg being shorter than the other, misaligned bone positioning, or flat feet

Athletic activities

Previous injuries

People who are overweight often feel knee pain. It’s one of the clearest signals your body gives you to lose weight.

Today I present to you a natural drink that will prevent all those unexpected and unexplained pains that sometimes appear out of the blue.

All its ingredients have strong anti-inflammatory effects and at the same time act to strengthen your ligaments and tendons.

They are full of substances like magnesium, silica, vitamin C and the enzyme bromelain.

They thus give your body the necessary energy and strength.

Ingredients

To prepare our drink you need:

  • 1 cup of oats
  • 1 glass of water
  • 2 glasses of chopped pineapple pieces
  • 40 grams of honey
  • 40 grams of almonds crushed into a powder
  • 7 grams (approx. 1 heaped teaspoon of cinnamon, preferably Ceylon)
  • 1 glass of freshly squeezed orange juice

Note: 1 glass refers to a volume of 2.5 dcl.

Preparation

When making the drink proceed as follows:

  • Cook the oats in water. Boil them for a few minutes and then let them cool.
  • Into the cooled oats squeeze the juice from the pineapple pieces.
  • In a blender, blend the almonds, honey, orange juice and cinnamon.
  • Then add the oats with the pineapple juice to the blender.
  • Blend everything again until you obtain a smooth homogeneous drink.
  • Your anti-inflammatory drink for the knees is ready!

If you don’t feel like squeezing pineapple juice, you can put whole pieces of pineapple into the blender.

You’ll get a bit more fiber this way, which is beneficial for supporting your bowel function.

Usage:

Divide the prepared drink into 3 portions to be drunk throughout the day. In the meantime keep it stored in the refrigerator, but not longer than 24 hours, ideally no more than 12 hours.

Because the drink contains many enzymes from the fruit that are very important for healing, but after juicing they are quickly lost.

Consume the drink for at least a few days, or until the knee pain subsides.
