This recipe should help you stop a persistent painful cough and improve breathing.
It is especially suitable in cold autumn and winter weather for colds or flu infections.
Several of the herbs used in it have a soothing effect on the mucous membranes of the throat, bronchi and lungs. Its use is recommended primarily for various infections.
You might think that some herbal remedy can’t have very strong effects.
Nevertheless, you should not underestimate its healing power. It is as strong, if not stronger, than many commercially sold cough syrups.
In fact, it works faster than them.
Moreover, compared to commercial products it is 100% natural. Unlike purchased syrups, it therefore does not contain any additional chemical substances that would weaken your immune system.

To prepare the drink you will need the following ingredients:
- 1 tea bag of green tea (you can also use black tea)
- 1/2 teaspoon of clove
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon of thyme
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- Juice of half a lemon
Preparation
1. Place the tea bag with the herbs into a glass and pour 2 to 2.5 dcl of boiling water over it.
2. Let it steep for approximately 3 minutes.
3. Then strain the tea and let it cool to a lukewarm temperature, at which the content of vitamins and enzymes in the honey and lemon will not be degraded (i.e., cca 40 ° C).
4. Add honey and lemon to the tea.
Take as needed 2 to 3 times a day.
If the cough does not subside even after several days, it is advisable to seek help from a doctor. They can more precisely diagnose the possible cause.
