4-7-8 breathing technique
Touch the tip of your tongue to the roof of your mouth and breathe slowly. The pressure of the tongue on the palate does not have to be too strong. Breathe deeply.
Why this technique is also called 4-7-8. We will explain that to you now.
- At the moment when your tongue is on the palate, inhale through your nose while counting to 4.
- Then count to 7 and hold your breath.
- Finally, while you count to 8, exhale. Repeat at least 4 times.
