In summer it is impossible to walk past a beautifully blooming plant and not notice it. Anyone who owns a garden and loves flowers certainly knows what this is about. The more beautiful and fragrant the flowers, the better. Besides beautiful flowers, you can also grow gorgeous shrubs that can become true treasures of any garden. Take a look at a few plants that will adorn every corner of the garden.

Hydrangeas

Hydrangeas have been a treasure of gardens for decades. Our mothers, and grandmothers as well, love them. They will enchant you with their shape, size, and charming flowers. They bloom from September and can grow up to three meters high. There is also another species that can reach up to twenty meters in height.

Golden Rain or Forsythia

This is certainly a very impressive shrub that deserves the attention of every passerby. It is quite well known and widespread across Europe. It is said to be a messenger of spring. Forsythia’s flowers are bright yellow and bloom from March to May; afterwards the flowers are replaced by oval leaves.

Guelder Rose

Another truly charming shrub is the guelder rose, which will dazzle you during the summer with its ball-shaped flowers. The most beautiful guelder rose is white.

Spirea

This shrub has longer, thin branches and an impressive crown. It is one of the most beautiful shrubs, by which no one will pass without looking at it. There are many varieties, so it is possible to choose one that will suit your conditions.

Common Jasmine

You may know common jasmine only as a balcony plant or recognize the shrub but remember it only as an ornament you spotted on holiday. Jasmine is truly a wonderful shrub that smells intense and pleasant. Its flowers dazzle you in early and mid-summer.

Lilac

This shrub is very popular with Czech gardeners. No wonder — it is another harbinger of the arriving warmth. It blooms either white or purple and gives off an enchanting fragrance. Children like to gift their mothers this magical shrub because it is usually planted somewhere near a kindergarten or school.
