All broths – beef, chicken, pork, veal, fish or game, belong to traditional diets and form the basis of every cuisine. Broth is very nutritious, easy to digest, flavorful and also helpful in treating many problems.

They are made from bones, preferably of a single type of meat or several of similar types, and are flavored with root vegetables and spices.

A truly authentic broth is no longer found in many households. We want to cook it as quickly as possible, we add bouillon or Vegeta to it, and that really doesn’t resemble a proper broth. This is the method our grandmothers used and many young housewives today no longer know it.

What does it contain?

Broth contains amino acids (arginine, glycine, proline, glutamine), collagen and minerals (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus or silica). In addition, it contains vitamins B, A, D, proteins and other beneficial substances from the added vegetables.

benefits:

  • helps with increased intestinal permeability
  • detoxifies the liver
  • reduces food intolerances and allergies
  • benefits the joints
  • has anti-inflammatory effects
  • strengthens the immune system
  • fights viruses and bacteria
  • helps with colds
  • improves sleep quality
  • reduces cellulite

Another exceptional property of a strong broth is that it can do its work even in the liver. Toxins accumulate, and if you feel that some food didn’t agree with you, you should eat a lot of strong, good broth.

So how to make a perfect broth?

Before cooking you should roast the bones briefly in the oven.

Bones should be covered with cold water, not hot.

  1. The bones must be thoroughly cleaned before cooking. After all, they will be simmered for several hours and you don’t want to cook something you’re not convinced is healthy.
  2. Try to buy a hen from a farmer who is of good quality and was raised healthily and well fed.
  3. When the broth starts to boil, reduce the heat to the lowest setting and remove the foam that forms on the surface.
  4. The broth should cook for at least 3 hours, and herbs and salt are added half an hour before it’s finished.
  5. Finally, remove the meat from the bones into the broth.

Broth is a cure-all! If you have any of the above-described problems, it is recommended to consume two bowls a day. After a few days you will feel much better. Broth is also a very versatile dish. You can use it in sauces, pastas or other dishes. You can eat it with noodles, croutons, breadcrumbs and even with a beaten egg. Share this information and trust that you will cook the best broth under the sun.
