Every couple that enters into marriage and has children believes that their love, affection and understanding will stand the test of time, survive all hardships and problems, and they will live happily together for the rest of their lives. But we all know that the divorce rate is high and the number of broken, unhappy families and especially unhappy children, who suffer most after their parents’ divorce, is large.
Spouses divorce for various reasons and in most cases divorce is precisely the most painful thing in the family’s history. As we well know, adults and children often suffer feelings of anger and stress. And one parent’s behavior toward the other often does not help at all. Parents usually handle their relationship in a very bad way, namely:
- arguing,
- blaming each other,
- seeing a therapist.
The answer to the problem is quite simple
No child deserves to live in an atmosphere full of anger every day if their parents decide to end their life together. In a post that spread across the internet like lightning, father Billy Flynn shared how he manages the new family situation after the divorce. The main point is that the divorce should not adversely affect the children.

On social media he wrote: „Today is my ex-wife’s birthday, so I got up early to buy flowers, a card and presents that I brought to the children so they could give them to her, and then I helped prepare breakfast for their mother. As usual I was asked why the hell I keep doing it. I’m already quite uncomfortable about it, so I’ll finally tell you the reason!
I’m raising two little men. The example of how I treat their mother has a significant impact on how they will see and treat women and their attitude toward relationships when they grow up. That should be an even more important task for me, because we divorced. So if you don’t give your children a similar example, it’s time to reconsider. Overcome yourself and your problem and be an example! Raise respectful men and strong women, please! The world needs them more than ever!“
