We need:

  • 2 l of cold water
  • 50 ml of oil

How to cook the best roasted potatoes?

Just wash the potatoes well and cut them in halves or quarters; peel older ones as well. Put them into cold salted water and place on the heat – leave on the heat only until a white foam appears on the surface – then immediately drain the potatoes.

The secret of this preparation lies in the oil – namely that you put the oil alone on the baking sheet to heat up in the oven. ! Simply put the baking sheet with cold oil into a cold oven and then set it to 160 degrees!

When the oven and baking sheet have heated up, add the potatoes to the hot oil and toss so that each potato is coated with the oil mixture. You can add herbs or spices to taste.
