The secret I’m sharing with you.

Every proper homemaker will find the ingredients at home. The trick lies in the preparation method.

We need:

  • 1 kg potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 l cold water
  • 50 ml oil

Method:

1. Young potatoes only need to be well washed and cut into halves or quarters; peel older ones as well. Put them into cold water with salt and place on the heat – leave on the heat only until white foam appears on the surface – then immediately drain the potatoes.
2. The secret of this preparation lies in the oil – i.e., that you put the oil alone on the baking sheet and heat it in the oven.

Simply put the baking sheet with cold oil into a cold oven and then set it to 160 degrees

3. When the oven and the sheet have heated up, add the potatoes to the hot oil and toss so that each potato is coated with the oil mixture. To taste, you can add herbs or spices.

4. Increase the temperature to 180-200 degrees and bake until the potatoes are golden on the surface. Thanks to this method a crispy crust forms on the surface of the potatoes, which makes the potatoes extra tasty.
