This recipe is sometimes also called “česnekové mléko”.
Ingredients:
- 250 ml of milk
- 5 cloves of garlic
- 2 teaspoons of sugar or honey
- 100 ml of water
Preparation and use
1. Take a pot and pour the milk and water into it.
2. Then add the peeled and crushed garlic. Next place the pot on the stove and bring it to a boil.
3. After reaching the boiling point reduce the heat and simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, for approximately 1 minute.
4. After cooking, strain the liquid, let it cool slightly so it won’t burn when drinking, and add sugar or honey to taste.
By briefly simmering the garlic in milk, some of its unpleasant odor should dissipate, but the short cooking should preserve most of its beneficial active compounds.
This drink is best consumed warm. In one dose drink 0.5 to 1 dl of the beverage. Set the rest aside for later and warm it slightly again before use.
