Recipe for chicken roulade
For the following recipe you will need 0.5 kg of chicken breasts, salt, ground pepper, red paprika, 100 g of mayonnaise, 90 g of hard cheese, 2 cloves of garlic. The preparation is as follows. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and create a sticky mixture. For better flavor you can add chopped parsley, basil or coriander. Fresh herbs are always better than dried.
Cut the breasts into thin slices. Cover them with plastic wrap and pound them with a meat mallet. Just gently. The breasts will be thinner and easier to handle. Now we will fill them. Place them on a board and fill them with the mixture using a fork or spoon. You can secure them with toothpicks or string. But don’t forget to remove them before eating!
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Arrange the prepared rolls on a baking sheet. You can line it with baking paper – the dish will be a bit healthier – or grease the pan with oil. Drizzle the tops of the rolls with extra virgin olive oil, sprinkle with hard cheese and let bake. Once the rolls turn golden, they are done. Serve with a light salad, fries or boiled potatoes.
