It may happen that symptoms appear in you that are identical to the symptoms of various types of colds. In fact, if you look more deeply at these symptoms, you may find that their origin may not be any viruses, but merely your emotional state. In the vast majority of cases the symptoms are caused by a person’s negative mood, whose psychological state is reflected in their health. Which types of pain can be related to experiencing negative emotions?

Headache

A headache is probably one of the most common pains that is closely related to negative feelings, especially stress. So if you are feeling increased stress pressure, or you are facing a difficult decision or waiting for some important results to be produced, the headache will most likely be stress-related. If you are in a period that is mentally demanding for you for a few days or even weeks, regular and irregular migraines may appear that you will begin to struggle with. In such a case pills will not help you; the only thing you can do is try to remove the stress factors, or at least partially eliminate them.

Sore throat

A sore throat does not have to be a sign of tonsillitis, although it can be just as painful and unpleasant, and can even lead to loss of voice. Hoarseness, a lump-in-the-throat feeling, or pain when swallowing are not exceptional states of nervous origin. If you are dealing with a sore throat, think about whether it could have been caused by your emotional state. Only then should you go to the doctor. If your emotional state causes the sore throat, it may be due to feelings of anger. You can feel anger toward yourself or toward other people. You can only heal by learning to forgive yourself and others.

Shoulder pain

Shoulder pain is usually associated with some physically strenuous activity. You most often encounter it when carrying heavy items in a backpack or during exercise. But if you know you have not performed any strenuous activity, you should look for the cause elsewhere. Here too the cause of the problem may be psychological discomfort. This, however, does not stem from you yourself, but from the problems of other people. It mostly concerns people who take others’ problems too much to heart, sometimes inadvertently appropriate them and try to solve them for others, or at least find an acceptable solution for them. Learn to primarily deal with your own life and problems; it is good to listen to others and show understanding, but you should not occupy yourself with their problems too much. As your worries ease, the unpleasant shoulder pain will begin to subside.

Lower back pain

Lower back pain is often part of the aging process. If you know that this is not your case, think about how you get along with the people you come into contact with. Lower back pain is usually caused by poor communication between people, and this is connected with problems in interpersonal relationships, which can trouble you greatly. If this problem is appearing for you, try to think about how you could improve communication with your family, friends and other people in your close circle. Once you are positively disposed in terms of relationships with others, your lower back pain will certainly also recede.

Leg pain

Do you experience pain in your lower limbs? Then your problem is certainly caused by an overall negative attitude toward your life. A person who is troubled by pain in the lower limbs finds themselves in an unpleasant situation, due to which they are on the verge of depression or are already experiencing depression. It is very important here that you learn to be more assertive in your life, not give up and be able to fight where you want to achieve something. Try to internally motivate yourself so that you can grit your teeth and keep going despite failures. If you have strong willpower, you will certainly succeed in the end; it may just be that the road to your dream goal will be thornier than you expect, but in the end everything always works out.
