Are you a chocolate lover? Then you definitely have to try our delicious and tasty cake that you’ll fall in love with at first bite. It is creamy and full of delicious cream. Once you taste the cake, you won’t want to bake anything else. It’s perfect for a Sunday afternoon with coffee or as a birthday cake for children.

You must prepare the batter, the cream and the glaze separately

For the batter you will need:

  • 6 eggs
  • 20 dkg sugar
  • 8 tablespoons of flour
  • 30 ml oil
  • 2 dkg unsweetened cocoa powder

Also prepare the cream with which you will fill the cake. For it you need 3 egg yolks, 15 dkg powdered sugar, 25 dkg butter, 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder, a tablespoon of flour, 1 dl of milk and a tablespoon of rum flavoring. When the cake is ready, pour chocolate glaze over it, prepared from 10 dkg dark chocolate, a teaspoon of butter, 4 tablespoons of milk and one deciliter of whipping cream.

The procedure is simple; for all parts you need to mix the ingredients

First, beat the egg whites into stiff peaks together with the sugar. Mix oil into the yolks, add the cocoa powder and flour and stir. Fold the yolk mixture into the egg whites in small portions, pour the mixture onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper and bake at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. You can tell it’s done by the skewer you insert into the cake.

Put the butter with the sugar into a bowl and into the mixer and beat until you have a creamy mixture. Mix the yolks with sugar, flour and powdered sugar. Pour in the milk and heat gently over low heat. Take the cream out of the refrigerator only just before use and add the milk and rum flavoring to it.

Cut the baked cake in half and spread the cream. Melt the chocolate, mix in the butter and milk, and pour the melted mixture over the whole cake base. After cutting, you can also decorate it with whipped cream. Of course you can also make the cake in a classic round cake pan; here too split the base and spread the cream. You can add fruit to the cream or use it to decorate the top of the cake.
