Do you grow garlic and would like to have a high yield? Then you will certainly do everything for it. At the end of June the time comes when it is the right moment to start addressing an abundant harvest. If you give them the two ingredients listed below, you will definitely support their productivity. These two substances will ensure that you find large heads with lots of cloves underground. And these are not miracle ingredients that would be hard for you to obtain or expensive. Which ingredients are they?

Bone meal

Bone meal is an ingredient that may, surprisingly, really help with a high yield. And why bone meal? Bone meal is an ingredient that contains a large amount of phosphorus, which is very important for garlic growth, especially for building its head underground. Its use is also very simple; the only thing garlic needs from you is to sprinkle bone meal over the bed where the garlic grows, then just thoroughly water the bed and wait for the harvest.

Superphosphate

Superphosphate is not quite as simple to use; bone meal is simpler, but it is a much more effective method. But you need not be afraid, you will certainly manage this use easily as well, it will just take you a little more time. You will only need 2 tablespoons of superphosphate, which you dissolve in 10 liters of warm water. Mix the solution thoroughly just before use and pour it over the garlic. Superphosphate contains much more phosphorus than bone meal, and therefore will provide you with a higher yield than the bone meal mentioned above. This fertilizer not only ensures higher productivity, but also that after harvest it will remain good and fresh throughout the winter. If you treat the garlic with superphosphate, it will not dry out or wrinkle over the winter, and its taste will remain the same.

Industrial fertilizers

Whichever of the above methods you choose, it will definitely be better than if you decide to fertilize garlic with industrial fertilizers. Both of these options are natural and much more environmentally friendly. In addition, they certainly contain much more phosphorus needed by garlic than you would find in industrial fertilizers, and the yields will be correspondingly higher.
