You simply can’t do without certain helpers in the kitchen. Food, pots, dishes or spices will probably come to mind immediately, but what about kitchen towels? You wipe your hands, everything that drips or simply whatever you need to clean with the towels. But because of that, towels are often very stained and can’t be washed. Many people then throw the towels away, but that’s unnecessary, because you can whiten them!
Whitening kitchen towels
Burnt pots, oil, food residues, but also bits of food and much more. The fact that you can’t wash a towel in the usual way does not mean you have to give up on them. There is another alternative. Give this trick a chance, thanks to which the towels will be snow-white!
You need
- Pot
- Water
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- 2 tablespoons of bleach
- 5 tablespoons of washing powder
Preparation
As a base you need a container with water, which at this point you will heat to the boiling point. Once it is boiling, you can add sunflower or another vegetable oil to the pot. At this point mix in the other ingredients as well.
How it works
At the moment the washing agent is ready, you can take all the dirty towels you have at home. Remove the pot with the mixture from the heat and cover it with a lid. Put the towels inside and let the fabrics soak until the water has completely cooled.
Washing and drying
After this bleaching, it is good to wash the towels in the usual way and let them dry.
At this point the towels will be stain-free and brilliantly white.
