Did you know that ginger juice is among the healthiest things you can put into your body?
Fresh ginger is rightfully considered a so-called superfood that humanity has consumed for thousands of years. Its effects in relieving pain, improving digestion, or lowering blood pressure are well known.
You can consume it in the form of juice or as an addition to various dishes, drinks, cocktails, sauces, soups and baked goods.
An advantage of ginger is that it is relatively cheap and can be bought in almost any grocery store or fruit and vegetable shop.
Once you have it at home, obtaining ginger juice is a relatively simple and quick process.
How to obtain fresh ginger juice
To obtain ginger juice you will need the following items:
- a 2 to 3 cm piece of ginger root
- a peeler or a knife
- a grater
- a sieve and a teaspoon, or cheesecloth
- a bowl
Proceed as follows:
1. First, clean the ginger of the outer skin. You can use a peeler or an ordinary knife.
2. Then grate the ginger on a kitchen grater.
3. Put the grated ginger into the sieve and use a teaspoon to squeeze the juice into the bowl. You can also use cheesecloth or a cloth for this purpose, but in the case of a cloth some of the juice will be absorbed into it.
4. And that’s all, your fresh ginger juice is ready!
Warning: For safety, avoid consuming ginger if you happen to belong to any of these 4 groups of people.
How to consume fresh ginger juice
If you want, you can drink the juice directly, but it will be quite intense. It is therefore better to dilute it in water and then drink it.
Drink fresh ginger juice once a day, every day.
If you want, you can also prepare a larger amount of juice at once, for example using a juicer, and freeze it in an ice tray.
First dilute it with water in such a ratio that one ice cube corresponds approximately to the amount of juice from a 2 to 3 cm piece (a daily dose). Alternatively, pour only the corresponding amount of juice into one compartment of the ice tray.
Then every day simply take one ice cube, let it melt in a glass of water, and drink it.
With every sip, ginger juice will begin to change your body

The volatile oils in ginger awaken the taste buds in the mouth and stimulate the production of stomach acids.
This helps and improves digestion, reduces bloating and flatulence, and also relieves nausea or vomiting during pregnancy, after surgery, or when traveling by bus or boat.
According to research, it speeds up the passage of food through the intestines and reduces appetite in overweight people. It also prevents diarrhea and removes inflammation in the intestines.
