Classic fabric softener has many uses around the house, so if you use it only for washing clothes to make them pleasantly soft and scented, you’re making a mistake. You can use it, for example, for washing windows, carpets, polishing surfaces or removing dirt from burnt cookware. And that’s far from all. If you mix it with dishwashing liquid or vinegar, you’ll discover a new miracle.
Prepare your own solution
If you need to clean tile grout, window frames or similar surfaces, make your own solution. It’s not difficult. For the preparation you will need half a cup of fabric softener, half a cup of dishwashing liquid, half a cup of water and 1 tablespoon of 70% alcohol.
Mix all the ingredients together. Then spray the solution onto the areas to be cleaned, scrub it with a brush and rinse with clean water. Everything will be sparkling clean, even hard-to-reach places. You’ll be surprised how easily and cheaply you can make an effective cleaning agent. And how easy it will be to clean with it.
You can also mix it with vinegar
By mixing your solution with vinegar you can, for example, clean tiles, floors and faucets. Again, it’s a simple thing that doesn’t take much time. It also cleans dirty tile grooves. You will need 2 tablespoons of baking soda, 2 tablespoons of vinegar, 1 glass of water and 1 teaspoon of baking soda.
Mix fabric softener with plain vinegar, then add the glass of water and finally the baking soda. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly and pour into a spray bottle. Spray the preparation onto floors and tiles, clean with a brush and rinse again with clean water. The result will be a sparkling clean home.
