Hair loss troubles men and women in every age, although it is more a problem of older adults, it does not spare the youngest generation either. You can support hair growth with various expensive and marketed products, but you can also go the natural route and support the growth of hair, eyelashes and eyebrows, moreover improve the condition of the skin or get rid of small scars. You ask with what? Castor oil will help!

Oil from the seeds of the castor plant

Castor oil is a vegetable oil obtained by pressing the seeds of the castor plant, Ricinus communis; it is almost colorless and has no characteristic odor. It is fairly thick and 90 % of the fatty acids in it are formed by ricinoleic acid. This oil is used in the chemical industry, in the production of soaps and lubricants, brake fluids, paints, it is a traditional laxative, but above all it is used for its exceptional effects in cosmetics.

A miracle for dry skin and hair

Castor oil is an effective natural remedy for a range of dermatological problems, so everyone suffering from eczema or dry skin should have it on hand. It can be used not only on dry and cracked skin, but a drop of rubbed-in oil will deal with dry lips, it also aids the healing and closing of scars. For the scalp it helps with the condition of the skin, but also with the hair follicles. After applying castor oil to the hair, the hair quality improves, growth is promoted, and split ends are also healed. For weak and sparse eyebrows it is recommended to apply cold-pressed castor oil every day; already after three months the eyebrows will be strengthened.

Castor oil for hair and scalp

To improve hair quality and stimulate growth apply castor oil directly to the hair. Two drops of oil mixed with coconut oil or apricot oil are enough and apply with your hands along the full length of the hair. To stimulate growth it is advisable to massage the scalp with the oil so that the hair bulbs are strengthened. Always only a few drops are sufficient so the hair does not become greasy and the necessary absorption for growth strengthening occurs. Similarly, it is necessary to massage scars with castor oil, because the oil softens the skin and stimulates the growth of white blood cells, which facilitates the healing of subcutaneous tissue and reduces possible inflammation or eliminates the onset of infection.
