Smart uses of a dishwasher pod in the kitchen
If your oven looks terrible and you really don’t feel like doing complicated cleaning, don’t despair. Dissolve one dishwasher pod in warm water and carefully wipe the oven with the resulting liquid using a soft sponge. Don’t forget to wear rubber gloves, because you’ll be working with a concentrated substance that may irritate your skin. Let the liquid sit for a while and then thoroughly clean the oven with a clean sponge to remove all chemicals.
Besides that, you can also use this product on burnt baking dishes. It happens to all of us sometimes that we forget food in the oven and the baking dish gets scorched. Cleaning it is not at all easy and most people scrub it hard and for a long time. It will be much easier for you if you pour hot water into the baking dish and toss in one pod. Leave the dish like this overnight and in the morning you’ll see that the dish will look like new. Of course, don’t forget to rinse it thoroughly with clean water.

Another place where you can cleverly use dishwasher pods is the bathroom. A pod dissolved in warm water is a very effective bleach and also works great on stubborn stains. Discolored white clothing should be soaked overnight and then washed in the washing machine the next day as usual. White clothes, bed linen, curtains or a fabric mattress cover will shine clean again.
Bleaching is, however, just one of the ways you can use a pod. Even the washing machine itself can benefit greatly from it. It will remove limescale and bacteria. Start a wash without clothes, set the program to a high temperature and put one or two dishwasher pods into the washer. It’s very simple and yet it can greatly extend the lifespan of your washing machine.
