How to make the classic dessert, but in a lighter form?

For this delicious cake prepare:

·       2 a ½ cups of flour·       3 tablespoons cocoa·       1 cup powdered sugar·       1 teaspoon baking soda·       1 teaspoon white vinegar·       1 teaspoon vanilla extract·       6 tablespoons oil·       1 cup jam, which should not be too sweet·       1 cup mineral water

First preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Then put all the dry ingredients into one bowl and mix them thoroughly. Make three wells in the mixture, two smaller ones and one larger in the center of the mixture. Pour the vinegar into one small well, put the vanilla into the second and the oil into the third. Finally add the mineral water and the jam and stir until you obtain a consistent batter.

You can pour a chocolate glaze over the dessert

Pour the batter into a baking pan that you have greased with butter beforehand. Bake in the middle of the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes. You can test doneness with a skewer. Take out the cake, let it cool, and you can prepare a chocolate glaze for it. However, this is not necessary, because the cake itself is very tasty and ideal with coffee.

Besides chocolate glaze, you can also make a lemon glaze using lemon, water and powdered sugar, which suits dark desserts. It is mainly used to top classic gingerbread or Christmas sweet breads. However, you will enjoy this dessert as it is. It goes well with afternoon coffee or tea and you can also serve it to family members. If you want to indulge, you can add seasonal fruit cut into pieces to the jam layer. You can also decorate it with a small amount of powdered sugar, but only if you don’t mind it becoming even sweeter.
