Tiles or ceramic tiling in the kitchen are popular because the material they are made of is timeless and stains on them can be easily removed. Unfortunately, not all stains come off without problems, especially those soiled with grease, not to mention the space between the tiles.
We will show you a few tips on how to get rid of the problem as quickly as possible!
This is how you remove dirt from tiles in the bathroom and kitchen.
In 4 liters of water dissolve 4 tablespoons of borax powder (you can buy it at a pharmacy or at a gardening store), 100 ml of vinegar and 100 ml of liquid ammonia. Dampen the tiles and then gently wipe them. You will remove the dirt and leave no streaks.
Dissolve 3 tablespoons of baking soda in 500 ml of water. Apply to a sponge and wipe the affected areas. For cleaning grout, use an old toothbrush soaked in this solution. Take a piece of lemon and rub it over the stained area. After 15 minutes the lemon juice will soften the dried grease and you can simply remove it with a sponge.
Especially stubborn greasy stains, spread a paste of baking soda over them and then spray with vinegar. Once the two mixtures react, simply wipe the surface with a soft cloth. In addition to removing grease, vinegar will give the ceramic surface a shine.
If the grout between tiles is constantly getting dirty, use a simple trick: clean it with one of the previous tips, let it dry and rub it with an ordinary paraffin candle.
You can use the same method on bathroom tiles, where mold often appears.
You can also choose one of the commercial tile cleaners. Before using them, we recommend washing the tiles with a regular soapy solution. In stores you can also find melamine sponges or steam cleaners that will quickly handle this problem.
We believe that with these tricks cleaning and tidying will be a little easier for you.
You can clean a perpetually greasy oven the same ways!
