- supports sweating and thereby cleanses the skin and pores
- cleans the respiratory tract and eases breathing
- removes parasites from the intestines
- stimulates blood function and improves the quality of the circulatory system
As you can see, garlic is rightly called a superfood. Unfortunately, it is often not exactly the cheapest. How to solve that? Buy garlic on sale and then store it. That way you’ll have it on hand year-round and won’t have to worry about high costs.
How to store
Prepare garlic, salt, and a mason jar. Put the garlic into the jar and salt it thoroughly. Once you’ve done that, close the jar and place it in a cool, shady spot. Preferably in the pantry. If you want to protect the jar lid from dust, cover it with a piece of cloth and secure it with a rubber band.
Store the garlic whole. Definitely do not peel it. Thanks to this method you will never have to freeze garlic. Freezing is definitely not good for foods. It destroys their structure and after taking them out of the freezer almost all the water flows out of the product. Thanks to our method, however, the garlic will remain constantly fresh.
