Surely many people are troubled by drying thuja shrubs or lawn. The thuja are not green but turn brown and have rust-colored branches. The lawn fades and loses its green color. Once this begins to happen, it seems that nothing helps and the green color will never return to our plants.
Homemade remedy for green thuja
This perfect remedy works on thuja and lawn. The problem is that the thuja suffer from a large magnesium deficiency, and that is why they lose their vigor and color.
The solution to this problem is simple and bitter salt will be enough to save your garden.
It is sufficient to buy Epsom salt, which contains a lot of magnesium. You can buy such salt in most garden centers.
How to do it?
At first a weaker solution will suffice so you can later determine the right amount your garden needs.
Dissolve 200 g of Epsom salt in 10 liters of water and stir well so the salt dissolves. Then spray the thuja or lawn with this mixture and wait.
After a few days you can observe that the reddish color does not progress further and, on the contrary, the thuja are lusher and greener. This spray is suitable for all conifers for which you want a greener color. If you try the spray, feel free to increase the dose of Epsom salt up to 500 g. At the same time, this remedy is also suitable as protection against various pests that appear in the garden.
