Creating the right jam is not easy

That’s why most of us leave it to grandmothers and mothers or we go to the store.

Store-bought jam, however, cannot compare to homemade, so today we bring a recipe for making homemade jam in a very short time. You don’t need to cook the jam for long or use any preservatives.

Ingredients

  • 1 kg of fruit
  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 4 tablespoons of lemon juice

How to make it

  1. Wash the fruit; if you have cherries, sour cherries, or apricots, remove the pits.
  2. Place in a bowl, pour the sugar over it, and leave it in a cool place overnight.
  3. In the morning, place it on the stove and cook.
  4. When the mixture starts to boil, add the lemon juice and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. Pour the jam into jars and seal with lids.
  6. Turn the jars upside down, wrap them in a towel, and leave them for several hours until they cool.
  7. The preserves will keep for a long time. This batch makes about 1 liter.
