Admit it, it has surely happened to you that you stopped in front of a supermarket and didn’t have a suitable coin for the shopping cart.
We’ve all certainly come across a similar situation in front of our supermarkets; sometimes you manage to find help quickly, but often you face a situation like the one we encountered.
We were preparing for a big shopping trip, but there was no coin in the wallet and getting the shopping cart became a problem.
In the better case you’ll come across someone who has, instead of a coin, a promotional coupon in the cart and will hand you the cart including the coupon.
Alternatively, someone willing may be found who will change a paper banknote for you, but nowadays, when everyone uses contactless payments, either by card or even by mobile, not everyone has that many coins on them.
Well, the tragedy continues, there’s no one around and then a great idea occurred to us: let’s go and change a banknote at the checkout.
And there, of course, we run into a cashier who is already at the end of her strength, and her nerves too, so she nicely but dismissively sends us somewhere and we remain standing helplessly in front of the store waiting for a rescuer.
