Would you like to lose weight but don’t have the time or desire to follow various diets, or to spend hours every day in the gym?
In that case we have a recipe for an incredibly simple homemade weight-loss drink made from just 2 common ingredients that you probably already have at home.
How this weight-loss drink works
The principle it works on is that the drink will speed up your basal metabolism, so your body will burn more calories at rest than before.
If up to now your weight has been stable with your current diet and activity, then with this drink — assuming conditions don’t change — your weight should start to gradually decrease.
However, it’s important that you don’t simultaneously start consuming more calories.
Otherwise, the effects would cancel each other out and you might no longer lose weight.
Ingredients
As we mentioned in the introduction, you will need only these two ingredients plus water:
- 1 tablespoon of honey
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 250 ml of water
Preparation
1. First, bring the water to a boil.
2. After it has boiled, add the cinnamon to the water, cover with a lid, turn off the heat and let it cool.
3. When the water reaches lukewarm temperature, stir the honey into it and mix well.
Note: Never add honey to boiling water, because its healing properties, enzymes and some other beneficial nutrients would be degraded.
Usage
Divide the prepared drink into 2 halves, i.e. roughly 1.25 dl each.
Drink the first half in the evening before bedtime and the second half in the morning at least 30 minutes before breakfast.
In the morning drink it at room temperature; do not reheat it.
Do this regularly every day and it won’t be long before you start to notice the scale’s needle moving downward.
