Winter has arrived and with it immunity has weakened. Now we’ll more often cough, have the flu and a fever. Common colds usually occur in autumn and winter, so we should support our immunity especially during this period.

You don’t have to go straight to the pharmacy for supplements, pills or medicines. It’s enough to make natural, homemade antibiotics that will provide us with much more than just immune support. They are a wealth of many valuable ingredients that will affect the whole body overall.

The following belong to the group of natural antibiotics:

  • honey
  •  garlic
  • cayenne pepper
  • cinnamon
  • ginger
  • lemon juice

A great way to treat a cold and boost immunity is a syrup made from garlic and lemon juice.

What will you need?
  • 1 head of garlic
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 3-4 tablespoons of honey (for example linden, acacia, lemon balm)
  • 1 cup of boiled and cooled water

Instructions:

Peel and crush the garlic, add the lemon juice, honey and the boiled, cooled water.
Place everything into a blender, mix and pour into a container. Then let it sit for 2 days in a dark, cool place.
After this time, strain the syrup through cheesecloth into a glass sealing container. Store in the refrigerator. If you take the syrup out of the fridge, you can add a little warm water to it so you don’t drink a cold liquid.

Dosage:

– adults 2 tablespoons daily,
– children 1 teaspoon daily
