Fibromas and warts are spontaneously occurring skin growths. They are essentially benign tumors made up of connective tissue. They look like small nodules and range in size from 1 mm up to 1 cm.

They usually have the same coloring as the surrounding skin, but sometimes they can be lighter. They are not dangerous, however when there are too many of them they become a cosmetic and aesthetic problem.

Where and why fibromas and warts form

These skin growths most often form on the neck, in the armpits, on knee, the breast, on the abdomen, or around the eyes and on the eyelids.

Although these are their most common locations, they can form on virtually any part of the body. Usually where the skin folds or is rubbed more often.

It can be said that almost every person has at least one such skin lesion. So it is nothing extraordinary. In some people there may be hundreds of such growths.

Sometimes fibromas can become inflamed or even bleed or enlarge. Their number and size gradually increase with advancing age.

Although the exact mechanism of their formation is not entirely clear, the main causes are considered to be fat deposits and the action of certain types of viruses.

How conventional removal of warts and fibromas is done

Their removal is usually performed by dermatologists using liquid nitrogen, laser or surgically.

These procedures are usually carried out during the winter months, when there is less exposure to sunlight and less sweating.

After removal, a local antibiotic is often applied to the treated area to prevent infections.

It is also advisable to avoid strenuous physical activity for 5 days to limit sweating and physical stimulation of the treated area on the skin.

Removal of warts and fibromas often has to be repeated, because they can reappear after conventional medical procedures.

How to remove warts and fibromas at home

In our article today we will reveal one very simple and effective method to remove warts, fibromas and other similar skin growths.

The only thing you will need for this is apple cider vinegar. If you cannot get that, ordinary vinegar will also do.

Proceed as follows:

1. First wash the area where you have the wart or fibroma with soap and water and then dry it with a towel.

2. Now soak a small piece of cotton wool in the vinegar, place it on the wart or fibroma and secure it with adhesive plaster. The cotton should be only as large as the wart. Try to keep the vinegar from affecting the surrounding skin too much.

3. Leave it on for several tens of minutes. Repeat the procedure twice a day and do this until the wart falls off.

What to expect and what to watch out for

The wart, or rather the fibroma, will first begin to darken, then dry out and finally fall off.

If a small scar remains on the skin after it falls off (depending on the size of the removed skin growth), treat the area with Aloe Vera gel.

If the growth did not penetrate too deeply into the skin, the scar should disappear completely.

When applying the vinegar, as we have already mentioned, be careful that it does not affect the skin outside the growth – it could irritate it.

Stop the vinegar application when the skin growth dries. Also do not pull it off forcefully, but let it fall off on its own.
