How to get rid of hiccups
Don’t worry, there is no need to take any medicines. Simple natural remedies will suffice. Breathe in and hold your breath as long as possible. If that doesn’t work, try inhaling and exhaling very slowly to the limit. Repeat several times in a row.
If you still can’t get rid of the problem, plain water may help. Drink ten sips of lukewarm water very quickly or simply swish it around in your mouth.
Home remedies
Your kitchen can also help. For example, a teaspoon of sugar or honey. Sometimes a sip of vinegar, which is only for the brave, or the sour taste of lemon if you are not afraid to go for a more drastic solution.
Also try covering your ears with your hands for thirty seconds. It’s strange, but many people claim that this trick helps them.
Finally, light exercise is an option. Pull your knees up to your chest and press them together as much as possible. Repeat several times.
