And not only is it much cheaper, but many housewives who have already tried her tip say that it even smells better than many store-bought home fragrances. And what is her secret weapon? Scented pearls that are added to the washing machine to scent the laundry during the wash. They are sold in various scents and it’s up to you which one you prefer.
Make the scent of freshly washed laundry easily and quickly
Jen shared a simple recipe with us for making the scent of freshly washed laundry. Here is everything you will need:
- A quarter cup of scented pearls
- 4 tablespoons of baking soda
- A cup of boiling water
- An empty bottle with a spray nozzle
Procedure: mix all the ingredients listed above and let it sit until all the pearls dissolve (about 30 minutes). Then pour everything into the spray bottle. And that’s it! You can use the mixture you created on almost anything: carpets, furniture, clothing, curtains… In short, scent your entire home!
