On a large belly that looks like a swollen balloon about to burst, there is nothing attractive. And that’s not to mention the gases inside and the discomfort they cause.
Bloating is a common problem, usually after a heavy meal. For some people, however, it is a daily problem.
What causes bloating and how to get rid of excessive flatulence?
1. Insufficient fluid intake
Dehydration is a major cause of many health problems, including intestinal gas. These problems can be worsened by excessive consumption of coffee and alcohol.
For example, when was the last time you drank 6-8 glasses of water?
When your body lacks water, it补s it from the tissues. This then leads to bloating, which can look like water retention, but the opposite is true. The body is not lacking water.
2. Constipation
Constipation can be quite unpleasant and reminds you that you should eat more fiber-rich foods.
Gas trapped behind stuck stool will not remain still for long and will gradually start moving up and down the intestine.
The result is an unpleasantly bloated belly and possibly pain.
Eat fiber gradually, otherwise you will make the problem worse. Buy wholegrain bread, avoid white.
At the same time, include more fruit and vegetables in your diet. Also drink smoothies, but prepare them in a blender, not in a juicer, because the juicer separates the juice from the fiber.
3. Chronic stress
Believe it or not, stress can also cause bloating. When you are stressed, your digestive system does not perform its functions properly.
Try, therefore, to get rid of negative emotions. Don’t wait for that and your bloating problems will suddenly disappear.
4. Overeating and eating quickly
Partially chewed food is digested more slowly in the stomach and intestines, which causes bloating.
Therefore, do not rush when eating; eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly in your mouth.
5. Carbohydrates and sugars
Excessive consumption of sugars and carbohydrates can contribute to increased gas production in the intestines.
Consider replacing foods high in carbohydrates and sugars with foods that contain less of them.
