The whole world is living through a pandemic caused by a new type of coronavirus called Covid-19. Almost the entire world is fighting it and no one knows exactly whether it will be possible to stop this virus. Doctors and scientists are constantly searching for a cure, governments are implementing safety measures, and we firmly hope that it will all end soon and that we will return to the normal life that has already been away from us for over 3 weeks.

In our country the epidemic is being managed relatively successfully and it is mainly thanks to the people who take care of our safety.

It is equally due to ordinary people who approach the situation very responsibly, and so things continue. But the good news do not end. From Italy, which the infection has perhaps swallowed more than any other part of Europe, there are reports that the number of infected is not increasing, which is great. This is being reported by an Italian village located in the very epicenter of the outbreak.

In the heart of the outbreak

Perhaps you have already heard about it, because good news are very important these days. Nevertheless, increasingly more reports appear that rather scare us. For this reason, the news that the Italian village Ferrera Erbognone, located in the very heart of the epicenter of the coronavirus pandemic, has no new cases of infection is wonderful news. If only such reports would increase more than the number of infected. Many people even consider it a miracle, because right in the center of the outbreak this is truly great.

Reason to rejoice

The village is located in the province of Pavia in the Lombardy region. As you surely know, this region was the most affected in Italy, so the news of the halt in the rise of infected is wonderful and positive. About 1,140 residents live in this village, most of whom are over 60 years old. They are therefore the most vulnerable group in terms of Covid-19. Even so, there really are no new infections in this village, which is a reason to be happy.

Immune to the virus

However, the village mayor insists that all residents be tested, which could determine whether people have gone through the infection or are immune to the virus. People are happy because they can finally slowly return to normal. They have probably developed antibodies to the virus. Strict measures still apply, however, and everyone is urged to behave cautiously and responsibly; it is not won yet.
