If you’re not a top-level athlete, people often tend to underestimate care for their knees and their function. Heavy physical exertion, genetic predispositions or high body weight can cause conditions that lead to pain and a loss of connective tissue. In joint care two components are important – movement and nutrition. For movement, ordinary walking is sufficient. For nourishment, in addition to a suitably chosen diet, natural and less-natural remedies can be used. These preparations, containing a high proportion of anti-inflammatory substances, help strengthen joints and ligaments. Homemade cocktail

To make the homemade cocktail you only need commonly available foods and a few minutes. Not only does this drink taste great, but it also helps with knee pain and improves their suppleness and mobility.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of orange juice
  • 2 cups of rolled oats
  • 2 cups of pineapple juice
  • 1 tablespoon of water
  • 40 g honey
  • 40 g almonds
  • 7 g cinnamon

In a saucepan, mix the oats and a tablespoon of water and let them simmer for a moment. Then add the pineapple juice to the oats and stir well. In a blender, mix the honey, almonds, cinnamon and orange juice. Combine the resulting mixture with the oats and then blend again. If the mixture is thick, add a few ice cubes. Blend and the cocktail is ready!
