  • long-term use of certain medications,
  • excessive alcohol consumption, especially beer.

The good news is that lifestyle changes and incorporating natural supportive remedies can significantly reduce the body’s burden and alleviate symptoms of gout.

Natural remedies that may help with gout and joint pain

1. Lemon juice and baking soda – support for pH balance

Uric acid forms more easily in an acidic environment. Supporting the body’s natural acid-base balance can relieve it and promote the elimination of waste products.

How to prepare:

  • juice of half a lemon,
  • a glass of lukewarm water,
  • a small pinch of baking soda (optional).

The drink is usually taken on an empty stomach in the morning, ideally 5–7× per week.
