Glazes can improve any dessert and give it magic.
Prepare these simple but striking glazes that will take only a few minutes and turn any baked good into a masterpiece.
Try classic and less traditional variants, whether you want a cocoa, chocolate or caramel glaze – everyone will find their favorite!
Cocoa glaze
Ingredients:
- 160 g sugar
- 115 ml whipping cream
- 50 g cocoa
- 25 ml water
- 6 g gelatin
Method:
- Soak the gelatin in the water.
- Mix the cream with the sugar and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Add the gelatin, cocoa and blend.
- Refrigerate overnight and melt over heat before use.
Chocolate glaze
Ingredients:
- 265 g chocolate
- 175 ml whipping cream
- 40 ml water
- 25 ml vegetable oil
- 6 g gelatin
Method:
- Soak the gelatin in water.
- Bring the cream to a boil, add the melted chocolate, gelatin and oil, then blend.
Fruit-chocolate glaze
Ingredients:
- 320 g white chocolate
- 100 g berry purée
- 70 ml milk
- 45 ml whipping cream
- 25 g sugar
- 7 g gelatin
Method:
- Soak the gelatin in water.
- Mix the remaining ingredients and cook, then add the gelatin and simmer briefly.
Caramel glaze
Ingredients:
- 200 g sugar
- 140 g whipping cream
- 140 ml water
- 14 g cornstarch
- 7 g gelatin
Method:
- Melt 170 g of sugar, then mix with the cream and water.
- Mix the remaining sugar with the starch and add to the mixture. Cook for 1 minute and add the gelatin.
Cream glaze with food coloring
Ingredients:
- 260 g sugar
- 180 ml whipping cream
- 70 ml water
- 20 g gelatin
- food coloring
Method:
- Soak the sugar and gelatin in the water.
- Heat the cream and add the gelatin with the sugar, then blend.
Chocolate glaze
Ingredients:
- 300 g sugar
- 100 ml water
- 60 g cocoa
- 170 ml cream
- 100 g dark chocolate
- 20 g gelatin
Method:
- Mix the water, cocoa, cream and sugar and bring to a boil.
- Add the gelatin and then the chocolate, blend the mixture.
Condensed milk glaze
Ingredients:
- 150 g sugar
- 150 g white chocolate
- 100 ml condensed milk
- 75 ml water
- 12 g gelatin
- optional food coloring
Method:
- Soak the gelatin in the water.
- Bring the sugar and water to a boil, add the condensed milk, coloring and chocolate. Finally stir in the gelatin and blend.
