Coronavirus has been frightening the Czech Republic in recent days. The number of infected people is increasing and the government is adopting increasingly strict measures. However, only a limited number of people can work from home. So how to protect yourself from coronaviruses at work?
1. Thorough hygiene is essential!
The first rule for preventing coronavirus is thorough hygiene. Take a break several times a day to wash your hands, and especially remember to do so after coming in from outside and before eating. You should have a disinfectant gel or wipes of that type on your desk. This is also related to using disposable tissues. For prevention it is not appropriate to put your bare hand over your mouth, but a paper tissue. Try not to keep it for further use; throw it away immediately and don’t forget to wash your hands.
2. You can never have too many vitamins!

This rule of course applies in everyday situations just as much as it does now, but it still needs to be emphasized.
Coronavirus mainly affects people with weakened immunity, so what helps better than a proper dose of vitamins?
For breakfast a glass of fruit Fresh, for a snack an apple or a colorful fruit salad. Not only does it strengthen your immunity, but you will certainly feel great.
3. Don’t shake hands!
“This rule concerns primarily employees who, during the working day, come into contact with clients or a larger number of people. In normal operation we are used to greeting people with a handshake, but at this moment it is appropriate to omit it,” recommends the director of the job portal, adding that in the current situation no one will look at you as a person lacking social etiquette.
4. Limit large gatherings!
In many companies, regular meetings are customary, where often a large number of people are in one room. Such meetings are usually beneficial, but at this time it is necessary to consider whether they are absolutely necessary. The Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic also recommends not lingering in places with a higher number of people.
5. Above all, don’t stress!
Stress at work is quite common; try to limit it throughout the year. Now the fear of coronavirus is added to it, which is often greater than necessary. The media and social networks are full of information that may be frightening at first glance, but try to look at it with perspective and a cool head. The situation in the Czech Republic does not require panic. Remember that stress tires and weakens your body, which you don’t need now or ever.
