Attract insects
If you want to achieve pollination of more flowers, try attracting insects using sweet solutions (for example use honey or syrup). Mix with water and gently spray onto the plants using a sprayer.
Baking soda helps
If you want to increase the fertility of your plants, prepare them a solution of water and baking soda.
We need:
10 l of standing water
2 tbsp baking soda
Procedure:
1. Dissolve the baking soda in water that is at room temperature.
2. Pour a cup of this solution to the roots of each cucumber plant: once at the beginning of the flowering period and once after the flowers have faded.
The result will be that the plants will develop many fertile flowers and therefore you will also have plenty of fruits.
