Accumulation of mucus in the body is from a long-term perspective detrimental to health. It can coat the lining of the stomach or the nasopharynx. It also flows in the airways. Common symptoms include headaches, general fatigue, and loss of energy. You may also struggle with frequent colds or other respiratory illnesses. Therefore, it is advisable to remove mucus from the body.
Why is it necessary to remove mucus from the body?
A larger amount of mucus in the body can serve as a breeding ground for various bacteria and other pathogens. In the organism toxins also accumulate, overall immunity weakens and health deteriorates. A very common symptom is a sudden weight gain, or conversely underweight as a result of improper digestive system function. Occurrences of gastritis, ulcers, or colitis can also be observed. As for the respiratory tract, this can lead to frequent inflammatory diseases. Cleansing the organism is therefore necessary primarily to improve overall health. To detoxify you should undertake the process at least twice a year. This will prevent the complications mentioned above.
Cleansing the digestive system
Part of the body’s detoxification is also the regeneration of the stomach and intestines. This can be achieved by the following methods:
- Use fresh ginger: during the day sip a tea prepared from a teaspoon of grated ginger, boiling water and a little lemon juice. Ideally drink it half an hour before each meal.
- Try pepper: pepper also supports detox. Between lunch and dinner, wash down one teaspoon of pepper with water. It will help reduce mucus in the stomach and intestines.
- Beneficial nuts: include them in your diet. They have a similar effect to pepper.
- Flaxseed meal also helps: a mixture prepared from a teaspoon of flaxseed meal and 100 grams of a fermented dairy product (yogurt, sour cream) will help remove mucus, viruses and parasites from the body. It is appropriate to eat such flavored yogurt for breakfast for one week.
Cleansing the respiratory system
To prevent various infections and allergies, it is necessary from time to time to cleanse the respiratory system. So that mucus in the airways does not continue to accumulate, you should avoid smoky environments and exposure to chemicals as much as possible. An excellent method that facilitates cleaning of the airways is inhalation of herbs and essential oils. Eucalyptus oil in combination with hot water can be very effective. An important prevention against mucus buildup is also changing your diet and timing of individual portions. It is not recommended to eat before sleeping. Ideally, consume vegetables and fruits high in vitamins C and E.
