Preparation of an excellent dessert that will taste just like from a pastry shop is nothing complicated when you have the right recipe. You will surely appreciate the following article, where you will find a recipe for the fresh Eskymák cake that the whole family and guests will fall in love with.

What you will need to prepare the cake

Base

  • Chicken eggs – 4 pieces
  • Sugar – 180 grams
  • Water – 100 ml
  • Wheat flour – 130 grams
  • Baking powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Cocoa powder – 3 tablespoons

Cream

  • Condensed milk – 0.5 bottle
  • Vanilla sugar – 1 teaspoon
  • Milk – 250 ml
  • Sugar – 60 grams
  • Wheat flour – 3 tablespoons
  • Butter – 250 grams
  • Chicken eggs – 2 pieces

Chocolate glaze

  • Cocoa powder – 3 tbsp.
  • Sugar – 3 tbsp.
  • Butter (50 g) – 3 tbsp.
  • Sour cream – 4 tbsp.

Preparation steps

Take 4 eggs and separate the whites from the yolks. Whip the whites into stiff peaks, add 100 g of sugar and beat again with a mixer. In another bowl mix 80 g of sugar with the yolks and beat with a mixer. Add 100 ml of water to the yolks, stir and add the whole mixture to the whites, folding in slowly. Then add 130 g of flour, 3 tablespoons of cocoa and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

Line your pan with baking paper, pour in the batter and bake at 180 °C for about 30 minutes. Check the baked cake with a toothpick. While the cake is baking, prepare the cream. In a pot put 2 eggs, 60 g of sugar and stir lightly, then add the condensed milk, 3 tablespoons of flour, the vanilla sugar and 250 ml of milk and mix. Let the mixture cook over low heat until it thickens. Then let it cool and spread the cream on the middle part of the base, which you will cut into two halves.  

The final step is preparing the chocolate glaze, where you melt the butter with sugar, a little cream and cocoa powder. Then pour it over the whole cake and place it in the refrigerator to cool until the glaze sets. Now you can look forward to tasting this wonderful cake and offering it to your guests.
