Photographs of lungs affected by the coronavirus 2019-nCoV from Chinese doctors.
The results of the computed tomography of a 33-year-old patient are published in a journal.
It is noted that the woman worked in Wuhan, where the coronavirus was first registered. Six days before going to the hospital she arrived in Lanzhou.
During hospitalization she had an elevated temperature and wheezing in the lungs.
On the images this appears as a cloudy area.
At the end of December Chinese authorities recorded an outbreak of the coronavirus 2019-nCoV in Wuhan.
Based on epidemiological characteristics, clinical manifestations and tomography results, she was diagnosed with 2019-nCoV pneumonia. After three days of treatment the affected area of the lungs increased (image B).
