It will help you remove various toxins and poisons from the body and also optimizes the functions of the kidneys, liver, intestines, lungs and the lymphatic system.
For optimal results, do it at least twice a year.
During this detox cure, it’s recommended to get plenty of exercise, such as morning walks, swimming or yoga.
Also remember to drink plenty of fluids – primarily water and teas such as dandelion, nettle or birch.
Every day, make the first thing you do upon waking be that you drink 250 ml of still water
Then at breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner proceed as follows:
Day 1
Breakfast: 250 ml of still water (15 minutes before the meal), 1 cup of oats with 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds, 1/2 cup of fresh blueberries, 250 ml of Greek yogurt or 250 ml of almond milk, green tea
Lunch: 250 ml of still water (15 minutes before the meal), 200 grams of grilled fish, Swiss cheese with olive oil, 1 roasted potato, 2 cups of fresh vegetable salad (tomatoes, salad leaves, arugula), 1 small banana and a slice of melon
Snack: 250 ml of still water (15 minutes before the meal), 1 apple, 1/4 cup of pumpkin seeds, 180 ml of yogurt
Dinner: 2 cups of salad to your liking (drizzle with lemon juice and olive oil), 1/2 cup of steamed vegetables (spinach, broccoli), green smoothie (spinach, celery stalks, banana and apple), 250 ml of still water or anise tea
Day 2
Breakfast: 1 cup of oats, 200 ml of almond milk or low-fat yogurt, 1 tablespoon of ground flaxseeds, 1 pear, green tea
Snack: 1 grapefruit
Lunch: 250 ml of lukewarm water (15 minutes before the meal), 200 grams of grilled chicken, 150 grams of pickled cucumber, vegetable soup (beans, potatoes, carrot, onion, celery, red pepper)
Dinner: green smoothie (almond flour, banana, berries of your choice, spinach, kale, cucumber), beetroot and carrot drizzled with lemon juice, nettle tea
You can further complement your detox cure with a juice that you make by blending the following ingredients:
- 1 apple
- 1 carrot
- 1 piece of ginger (2 to 3 cm)
- 1 lemon
- 200 ml of water
Mix everything well in a blender and drink it, preferably freshly prepared each time. Enjoy!
