The cherry season is almost here, we are all surely looking forward to the small red berries that are sweet and juicy. From such fruit you can make an excellent sponge cake (bublanina), desserts, or a sweet sauce and jam. But also a fluffy, delicious and low-calorie dessert that will be a perfect alternative to high-calorie, fatty ice creams.
What will you need?
- cherries 300 grams (they can be frozen)
- bananas 3 pieces
- cold milk 300 milliliters
- powdered sugar to taste
Preparation
Peel the banana and then slice it into rounds and spread them on a tray or baking sheet and put them in the freezer. If you have fresh cherries, wash them, pit them and also freeze them. Once the fruit is frozen, use a smoothie blender that can crush ice and blend the fruit into a slush. Then add ice-cold milk and blend once more.

You can add powdered sugar or even honey to the resulting treat according to your taste — it depends entirely on your preference. If you add no sugar, you will have a delicious fitness dessert that is healthy and won’t make you gain weight. Prepare glass bowls for servings and layer the dessert into them. If the dessert is too runny, put it in the freezer for half an hour. For decoration you can use mint leaves, or if you’re not on a diet, you can decorate the dessert with wafer rolls or wafers. You can also add delicious whipped cream.
