Cellulite can begin to trouble you at a very young age. It mainly affects women, who often suffer from it and are ashamed to, for example, show their legs at the swimming pool. If you have hidden your short skirts deep in the wardrobe because your cellulite is starting to get worse, it’s time to take action against it.
What is cellulite
It is a condition in which fat tissue accumulates under the skin, causing numerous dimples and an unsightly skin appearance, commonly known as orange peel skin. Cellulite is most noticeable on the buttocks and thighs, and usually appears after puberty.
Coffee wrap against cellulite
This treatment is especially effective in winter or spring, when the skin lacks vitamins and nutrients. It is also an ideal solution for dehydrated and dry skin.
What you will need:
- Coffee grounds – ½ cup
- Olive oil
- Plastic wrap
Preparation and use
Mix half a cup of coffee grounds and olive oil. Heat the prepared mixture in the microwave for twenty seconds.
Apply the mixture to the skin where there is cellulite and wrap it in plastic wrap. Leave it on for thirty minutes, and then rinse with warm water. Do this twice a week until you achieve positive results.
Coffee scrub
Coffee can also be used as a scrub to remove skin cells that may be laden with toxins.
For the scrub you will need:
- Coffee grounds – ¼ cup
- Sugar – 3 tablespoons
- Coconut oil – 2 tablespoons
Preparation and use
Mix all the ingredients until a paste forms. Apply the paste to the area with cellulite and massage the area for several minutes with firm pressure. Rinse the coffee grounds with lukewarm water. Perform this treatment three times a week until you achieve the desired results.
How to prevent cellulite
Eat healthy, low-fat foods, fruits, vegetables and fiber, which can help you avoid cellulite.
Regular exercise, maintaining a healthy body weight and avoiding stress also have a positive effect on the body and help protect against cellulite.
