The increase in heart diseases is often related to clogged arteries. For our circulatory system to function properly, it is essential that nothing obstructs the blood flow through the arteries.
When it comes to cleansing any organ in the body, natural remedies are considered the most reliable and effective option. There is an old German recipe for a drink that will help you clean your arteries, strengthen the immune system and lower the body’s cholesterol levels. It is simple to prepare and requires only three ingredients.
To prepare it you will need:
- 4 unpeeled lemons
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 4 cm of fresh ginger
- 2 liters of water
Take 4 lemons and cut them into small pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and the ginger root and cut everything into small pieces. Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until a uniform mixture resembling a paste forms. Then transfer it to a pan and let it simmer. Stir constantly and then add 2 liters of water. Boil for 15 minutes and then let it cool.
You don’t have to worry about the smell of garlic, because the cooking process eliminates the strong taste and aroma. The drink tastes more like a lemonade with a ginger flavor. Shake the drink well before consuming.
Why is this drink so effective?
Garlic has antibacterial, antiviral and antiseptic properties that protect the body from infection. Allicin, the compound responsible for its characteristic pungent aroma, significantly strengthens the immune system. Other beneficial substances it contains include manganese, vitamin B6, fiber and vitamin C.
Ginger helps remove stored fat and eases digestive problems. It contains a large amount of antioxidants. These support immunity and the body’s overall defenses. It also has a positive effect on psychological ailments – it helps reduce emotional tension.
Lemon is a rich source of vitamin C. It improves the functioning of the body’s immune system, helps normalize the body’s pH and thus provides protection against viral illnesses. It cleans blood vessels and removes accumulated fat in the body.
