Suitable for occasions such as name-day celebrations, birthdays, but also for a weekend coffee just because. This chocolate cake tastes wonderful, is easy to prepare and is ready within an hour. It is moist, impresses with its chocolate-and-quark flavor and looks great when served on dessert plates.
Ingredients
What will you need to make 12 pieces of this delicate chocolate cake? Prepare the following for the dough:
- flour – 300 g
- softened butter – 150 g
- sugar – 100 g
- cocoa powder – 3 tablespoons
- egg – 1 pc
- baking powder – 1 teaspoon
- vanilla sugar – 1 packet
for the filling:
- eggs – 4 pcs
- vanilla pudding mix – 2 packets
- sugar – 200 g
- vanilla sugar – 1 packet
- oil – 45 g
- quark (tvaroh) – 500 g
- sour cream – 400 g
- cocoa powder – 6 teaspoons
for the glaze:
- dark chocolate – 100 g
- cream – 100 g
- butter – 20 g
Preparation
For preparing the recipe you can use a mixer or a dough machine, or alternatively prepare a deep bowl in which you crack the egg and beat it with sugar and vanilla sugar by hand. Gradually add the sifted flour, softened butter, cocoa and baking powder. Beat into a smooth batter, which you pour into a round tin with a diameter of 26 cm lined with paper or greased with butter and sprinkled with semolina.
Now prepare the filling and mix in a bowl the eggs with sugar, also add the vanilla sugar, oil and vanilla pudding mix and beat until smooth; after a while of mixing add the quark with the sour cream.
Put part of the quark mixture into the center of the baked base, then add a teaspoon of cocoa, stir and again put part of this mixture into the center; then stir in 2 teaspoons of cocoa and add it, finally stir in another 3 teaspoons of cocoa and add onto the base. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 60 minutes.
Finally prepare the glaze. Melt the chocolate with butter and cream, mix into a smooth glaze and spread over the surface of the cake. After cooling, serve with coffee or tea.
